In schools today, science often doesn't get the attention it should. End of grade tests have shifted the focus to reading and math. Teachers don't get enough training in science, and don't have the materials for hands-on labs. Yet a knowledge of science is essential in todays society. And kids love it!

We offer a variety of programs, on different science topics. All programs use a number of demonstrations, several hands-on activities, and always include something for them to take home with them. Whether its Science of Toys, Colorful Chemistry, or How'd He Do That, proper science vocabulary is always used, and questions encouraged.

Professor Gizmo's Science Programs are the answer! We teach science concepts using exciting demonstrations and fun, hands-on experiments. With nineteen years of experience teaching science, we know what children need to know, and how to teach it. For six years we presented programs to thousands of children through Asheville North Carolina's Summer Program. We did a full week program with third graders at the Asheville Nature Center, and ran our own week long summer science camp for three years.
