PROFESSOR GIZMO'S SCIENCE SPECTACULAR SUMMER CAMP
Lunch: Please provide a non-microwaveable nutritious lunch for your child. We can refrigerate lunches/drinks. Please do not send sodas and candy in their lunches. We would prefer juice, milk, water. We will provide a midmorning snack and an afternoon snack with juice/lemonade. Please let us know if your child has any food allergies or other allergies or food sensitivities. Please indicate this on the Parent Consent/Medical Information Form. You will need to print this out from the email and fill it out. Bring this form on Monday when you drop off your child.
Attire: Please have your child dress very casually, cool clothes, shorts and T-shirts. Sandals are ok, but we will be going outside sometimes, for the messier activities. Keep in mind that clothes may get messy, so please have them wear old clothes, especially the first day (we are using fabric paint). Most everything else should wash off.
Other: Your child will need to bring a shirt with them on Monday to be made into a lab coat. The shirt should be button front, oversized for them (Dad's old dress shirt), which can be either short or long sleeved. We will paint and decorate them on the first day to be used as a "Lab Coat" and they will take them home at the end of the week. If you need a shirt, you can find them at Goodwill or other thrift stores, they are very inexpensive at thrift stores.
Fees: If you paid a $50 deposit prior to camp, the remaining balance of $100 is due on the first day of camp.
Please print out the Parental Consent Form, fill it out and bring it with you on the first day. We must have this information. If you would prefer that we mail you a copy, please email us back to ask for this.
Please email back that you have received this information. We want to make sure that everyone has the information on the camp, as we will not be sending this in the mail, unless you request it.

From Hwy 1 (Dixie Freeway) in NSB, turn on to Washington St, which is the same road that leads to the North Causeway. The church is on the corner of Washington and Faulkner, just before Old Fort Park.
Hours: The camp will run from 9 AM to 3:30 PM each day. You may drop off your child between 9:00 am and 9:30 am, we will start the actual science program by 9:30 am, giving everyone a chance to get there and get settled. You will need to sign your child "IN" when you drop them off and sign them "OUT" when you pick them up. There will be a clipboard for this, please come inside each morning to do this. Please do not leave your child earlier than 9 am! Pick up will be from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm. We will have games, coloring sheets, toys, etc. for the children to play with during the drop off and pick up time periods. It is very important that you pick up your child by 3:30 PM. If you cannot pickup your child by 3:30 PM, then you will need to sign up for extended care which is available till 5PM at a cost of $20 for the week.
